As part of Boy Scout Troop 200's World Religions month, the Troop hosted six Muslim Webelos Cub Scouts from Pack 43 Den 5 in Princeton.
Afnaan, Humzah, Haneef, Mustafa, Yasin and Zohaib talked about what is common between Islam, Christianity and Judaism, and reinforced the true brotherhood of Scouting. Their leaders then invited Troop 200 Scouts to ask questions ranging from Islamic holiday celebrations to views on the afterlife.
In order to gain a better understanding of religions and build bonds of friendship with others, the Scorpion patrol of Troop 200 also hosted a Catholic youth minister and a rabbi at other meetings. The Troop 200 Scouts are learning that understanding the cultures and religions of others will help build bonds of peace that will last a lifetime.
