Mr. Lawrence reports on the Klondike Camporee in our Forum:

Six degrees...

15 degrees on Friday night felt downright balmy!

We had a great but chilly Klondike this weekend with a whole bunch of Scouts, Webelos, leaders and parents cycling through our big, warm tent.

Friday brought chilly temps and some wind but Mr. Koch, Mr. Boyd and Mr. Bussell were at camp early to set up. We had the wookburning stove roaring (thanks to Dave Peer's supply of wood pallets) and toasty warm by the time the boys arrived. We had a bottomless pot of hot chocolate going all weekend to keep the boys hydrated.
Be sure to read the rest of his report in our Parent/Leader Forum.
